LifeGroup Power!
With the launch of new LifeGroups at Alive, there is now a Ministry Training LifeGroup. In an interview with Ps. Pauline we have found out the exciting things that make this LifeGroup so powerful.
What’s involved in the Lifegroup? Why is it actually held?
At Alive Church we believe in the supernatural power of God and the power of prayer. There is an incredible need for a ministry team that’s equipped. It is important that at times of personal prayer in our meetings we have a team that understands the culture and guidelines of Alive Church.
So what happened during the first LifeGroup meeting?
Ps. Aaron spoke out of 1 Corinthians 14, which gives great instructions on prayer and things to be aware of when praying for new Christians and non Christians. Any prayer or prophecy into people’s lives should build them up.
The group then went on to pray and speak words of encouragement for both themselves, and for other members of the group. This was an incredibly empowering time for everybody involved.
Can people still join the Ministry Training LifeGroup?
This a LifeGroup that will run at least twice a year. It’s a LifeGroup full of learning, so it is best to start it at the beginning of the LifeGroup cycle. So look out for the next one.
